Carragher Hoping European League Pass

Jamie Carragher hopes Liverpool can still qualify for the Europa League next season.
But to do that, the Reds have to take fifth place Tottenham, which is currently the difference of five points with one match in hand.

The defeat at the hands of West Ham, do not make this veteran defender lost motivation, he believes, Liverpool could rise.

"I do not feel defeated here by late goals will make or break how we end this season," said Carragher.

"We still can catch the Spurs, they draw at Wigan.

"A lot of times this season, when we feel European qualification was lost. Wigan at home to play a draw, reap the defeat of West Ham.

"But when you reap some good results, after that, and you'll feel it coming back.

Now, Carragher began targeting the game against Manchester City next Monday.

"We beat Manchester United after losing at West Ham, we hope to do the same against Man City and make it all lifted.

"It's an important game for us. Man City have spent a lot of money and full of star players, but hope this will be a fight that we need to get back on track, after this defeat, "he explained.
